Everyone knows that Bondi Beach is brilliant in summer, but it's long been a locally kept secret that it's also quite magical in winter.
That's all changing this year, when the streets are lit up with winter lights for the Bondi Beach Winter Magic Festival.
And, for the first time ever, we have an outdoor ice-rink at the beach!

Bondi in winter is a magical place ...
The crowds have thinned and winter sunshine sparkles on the waves.
It may be too chilly for a swim, but you'll find our great eateries and bars, fabulous shopping and exciting events make Bondi a great destination for a day, a weekend or a longer winter break.
Through to August, Bondi sparkles with family fun festivities, outdoor music, Wicked Wednesday shopping nights, skateboarding, ice skating, beach yoga, food and wine tastings, dining specials, art shows and more.

The winter lights are on, and Bondi Beach is hosting a series of exciting events in July particularly aimed at couples and families with children.
- Late night Wednesday shopping in Bondi Village, centred on the Hall Street - Jaques Avenue - Gould Street axis.
- Special weekday eating and drinking events and promotions. Cick here for more details.
- Sunday family events.
- School holiday events and entertainment for kids and young people.
- An outdoor ice-rink on Campbell Parade overlooking the beach during the July school holidays from 16th to 25th July. Sessions must be pre-purchased, and can be booked by clicking on the "Skating Bookings" tab above, or by visiting www.winterfestival.com.au/bondi/
